Tikun
Hayom –
Tikkunim to do on a day that a person sees keri.
Firstly remember
that there is a very large difference between a person seeing keri (nocturnal
emission) against his will and a person that spills seed on purpose.
If a person knows that he did not actively cause the Keri by thinking
impure thoughts and by looking at improper things during the day then
he should not be so worried.
Remember
the Holy Tzadik Rebbe Nachman promised that if a person sees keri and
that day he immerses in the mikvah and recites the Tikkun Hakali then
he has nothing to worry about.
However keri
does cause some damage and a person should do the following Tikkunim
on the day that he saw keri. Each person should do them according to
his limits of time and energy. If a person can not do all of them or
only do them sometimes he should not worry, only do the best you can.
Here is
a list of Tikkunim in order, based on importance and the time and energy
needed to do the Tikkun.
1 –
Recite the Tikkun Haklali.
2 – Immerse in the Mikvah
3 – Say Tikkun 48 from the Tikkunay Zohar
4 – Give Chi (18) coins to charity
5 – Say the verse Ohr Zarua Ltzadik 17 times
6 – Do the Tikkun Yesod of the Ben Ish Chi
7 – Recite another 8 chapters of tehilim so with the Tikun Klali
it will be 18 Chi
8 – Light candles for the Tzadikim
9 – Recite Rebbe Nasons prayer for the Tikkun Haklali
10 – Study Chi (18) chapters of Mishnah
11 – Recite the prayer for Tikkun Yesod from Rebbe Aharon Ruteh
12 – Do Shay Tivilot (310 immersions in the Mikvah)
Notes:
1
– Recite the Tikkun Haklali.
Even with out concentration. If there is no way a person can go to the
Mikvah he should still recite the Tikkun Haklali.
2
– Immerse in the Mikvah
Do at least two immersions, one to remove the impurity and one to bring
down holiness. If it is not possible to go to the Mikvah that day then
do the tikkun of 9 kavim and the 40 rinsing of the hands which are a
semi alternatives to immersing in the Mikvah.
3
– Say Tikkun 48 from the Tikkunay Zohar
Very easy only takes 3 minutes.
4
– Give Chi (18) coins to charity
One can even use nickels or ten agurot. Have in mind that you are giving
energy from Yesod to Malchus as opposed to having it become spread out
amongst the Klipot.
5
– Say the verse Ohr Zarua Ltzadik 17 times
Try to do it with all the kavanot. If not possible then a least do the
ones for Kuf-Rash-Ayin and Ches-Bais-Vav
6
– Do the Tikkun Yesod of the Ben Ish Chi
The Tikkun consists of two parts the prayer and the study. If you can
not do both then at least do the prayer part. Do not do this Tikkun
unless you have first immersed in the Mikvah.
7
– Recite another 8 chapters of tehilim so with the Tikuun Klali
it will be 18 Chi. You can choose any eight even the eight
shortest ones.
8
– Light candles for the Tzadikim
Light candles in the bedroom where they contaminated you with keri.
Light three for the Tzadikim Shomri Habris .. Yosef, Boaz and Palty
ben Layish and meditate that they should kill off some of the klipot
that were created. As with all fire, light the candles in a responsible
way.
9
– Recite Rebbe Nasons prayer for the Tikkun Haklali
Takes a little time but it really helps back up the Tikkun Haklali.
10
– Study Chi (18) chapters of Mishnah
Every person should know 18 chapters very good so he can just read through
them and understand them with no extra effort. A person can choose the
easy Moed Mishnayos or even the Chapters from Tikkun Shabbos.
11
– Recite the prayer for Tikkun Yesod from Rebbe Aharon Ruteh.
This also takes time but it helps a person do Teshuvah.
12
– Do Shay Tivilot (310 immersions in the Mikvah)
If done using the shortcut it should only take 3-4 minutes.
